5/6 Nov 2011 - Grand Opening

Finally, after many months of organising, a dream of thousands of Vaishnavs in the UK was realised. Our beloved ShriNathji together with Shree Yamunaji and Shree Mahaprabhuji brought the Haveli to life and Pujya Shree 108 DwarkeshLalji MahodaiShree (Je Je) officially opened the Haveli for Darshan.

Saturday 5th Nov 2011 started with a truly joyful procession through Leicester, led by Je Je followed by hundreds of Vaishnavs who were clearly ecstatic at the arrival of ShriNathji, Shree Yamunaji and Shree Mahaprabhuji. The procession led Vaishnav followers from all over the UK to Loughborough Road. The official opening of the Haveli took place in a marquee where local dignatories attended to show their support.

The spiritual opening was performed by Je Je. The sight of ShriNathji, Shree Yamunaji and Shree Mahaprabhuji in the beautifully constructed Haveli bought gasps and literally tears of joy to the hundreds of worshippers packed inside the darshan hall. The queue stretched a long way down the road where Vaishnavs patiently waited and recited Shree Yamunastuk creating an atmosphere reminiscent of Nathdwara.

During the afternoon, Je Je held a captive audience with his world famous teachings. After Prashad, an impressive firework display concluded a day that will always hold fond memories.

Sunday 6th Nov 2011 saw more Vaishnavs arriving by the coachload eager for their first Darshan at the new Haveli and to listen to Je Je's Vachnamrut.
